Experiences in Johore!
I have stayed in Johore for almost 6 months now and I'm glad to be staying here. I wish to stay here for another academic year, if possible. I've met people that impressed me and made me feel right at home.
As I've stated prior, my first time in Johore and I didn't have much time to travel around in JB because I travel to KL for my classes very frequently. As the New Year came, I was very optimistic of an exciting beginning. I had fun with the 3 other girls and teachers here. I really enjoyed helping Ms Kristine and the 22 students of PYP 3. I found out that my class students can be as dramatic as they want, just like their teachers! =P
Each and every day, Ms Kristine and I go through a lot different experiences. Students make you angry and they also make you laugh and smile most of the times. It's a mixed emotion and yet, we, teachers never label any students and love them to the maximum, or at least I do! <3 I had a great CNY celebration with my family in school and I knew then, that I'd really miss everyone here if I leave the school. I don't think I've ever been this comfortable in KL.
I met a lot of new friends but I want to specify these 2 new friends and family members respectively ;) Should I name my friends as Mr K and Mr T? Yeah, they made me change my impression about JB guys. Before reaching JB, everyone kept warning me about JB guys but these 2 fellows changed my mind! =D Thanks a lot! Whereas my family members are, Anu Akka and Ilanggo Anne, Anu Akka’s husband. We, 4 girls can really be very irritating and annoying, yet Anu Akka and Ilanggo Anne managed us without any complain. Even if they had, I don’t think they’d tell us, because we can also be as sweet as Ferrero Rocher! =P
Wokay, now places I’ve visited in Johore, I’d say not much but the places that we always hang out is Jusco Tebrau City, Larkin Sentral, Taman Scientex Pasir Gudang, Taman Daya, and not forgetting JB Town.
Well, the trip to JB Town is an exciting and enjoyable experience for Veeno and me. Early today, we headed to Baba Mandir in Town, followed by a short window shopping for family and then to Rajamariamman Temple there and more window shopping! At last, we had our long walk to Amma Restaurant for lunch. It is a big achievement for me as I’ve stayed in JB for months and it’s my first time to have a walk in the town. Now, waiting for Veeno’s Amma to bring us to the Glass Temple and Singapore! YEAY! Excited about it…
