Right Place, Right Time But Wrong Attire & Attitude!
Heyya!!
If you’ve read my previous post, you’d know that I went around JB Town for a walk the other day. I noticed something that I don’t know how many of you might have noticed too, just like me!
So here’s my story: Veeno and I got ready to go Baba Mandir that is also situated in JB Town and then for some window-shopping ;) After our praying session in Baba Mandir, we headed to several stores to shop for a special person =) As we were walking around there, I saw Rajamariamman Temple and we planned to go to the temple as well. Thank God, we were wearing appropriately that it was comfortable to enter into temple. We were praying and after that, planned to sit in the temple a while before making a move. While we were sitting down and looking around at the temple deities, we saw a group of adults wearing totally inappropriate clothes to temple and showing off their snobby attitude in temple.
They wore tight quarter pants with a tight top that looks like it would burst open any minute. Their so-called snobby attitude was when they were busy snapping pictures of themselves in temple. At that instant, I felt like correcting them but I controlled myself. I’ve have seen this matter at most of the temples but I couldn’t take it anymore. If you are not dressed appropriately to go temple, then why go? I know it’s the thought that counts but I wonder how many of them realise that whatever clothes they wear should be such that it doesn't reveals their feminine form.
You want to show your shapely body, try it in shopping malls or streets but NOT in temples. It is also not appropriate to use hand phone in temples but I bet, most of us never do that. I would most likely turn the phone into silent mode but I’ve also seen many of them who don’t care about it. People do not come to temple and gossip around and frolicking in temple is not tolerated at any situation. Yet, I see people do these things all the time. What is happening to people nowadays?
It is sad to also see that most parents do not emphasise these important traditions to the young ones, leading the young ones to behave unsuitably in places like temples. I wish the young generations will be more educated about this. Yeah, I can only wish!
Catch all of you in my next post! =) =D
